Reverie
Privacy Policy
Reverie ("we", "the app") is built so your private practice stays private. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your recordings & affirmations. Voice recordings and the affirmation text you create are stored on your device and synced to your own private iCloud account (Apple) so they appear across your devices. We cannot access them.
- Text you enter for AI shaping. When you ask the app to generate or "shape" an affirmation, the words you type are sent over a secure connection to our processing provider (DeepSeek, via our server) solely to generate the affirmation. We do not store this text on our servers.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which records your subscription status and a randomly generated app user ID. We never see your payment details.
- Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand which screens are used and how onboarding performs. This is not linked to your identity, uses no advertising identifier (IDFA), and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Device permissions
- Microphone — to record your affirmations.
- Speech recognition — to transcribe your recording into text (performed by Apple, on-device where supported).
What we do NOT do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Data retention & your rights
Your recordings live in your iCloud and on your device; deleting them in the app removes them. You can request deletion of any data associated with your account by emailing us. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only.
Children
Reverie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
